FAQ about Concierge Services:
How is your senior concierge service different from senior home care services?
Senior home care services are more focused on health care. A concierge service provides other
personal services, such as errand running, personal assistance, personal bookkeeping and
companionship, all through one personal concierge.
How do I know you will be available when needed?
We work with a limited number of clients at a to ensure that we will have ample time to devote
to each of our senior time, clients.
How do I pay for your services?
We provide an itemized invoice at the end of each week/month, or project. This is sent to either
the senior we are helping, or a designated family member. You can pay by check or credit card.
How often may I receive services?
That is the client’s and/or family’s choice. We may visit daily, weekly, monthly, or as needed.
Experience has taught us that seniors do not want to be rushed. In order to develop a trusting
relationship and complete a service request, our minimum visit is two, (2) hours.
Are staff experienced ?
Yes, our owner is a hands on human services professional, certified in home care with more
than 35 years in the health care and senior living industries. Staff are comprised of skilled,
trained professionals, who are certified, insured and have passed an extensive background check.
Staff attend seminars and in services to keep up-to- date on the latest in senior services. A nurse
educator is also part of the SCS team.
Can seniors conserve their assets that they have worked all of their lives to acquire by using
Senior Concierge Services?
Yes. Since our costs are significantly less than other care options, seniors can conserve their
assets for their ongoing care needs or their family’s future.
How do you charge for services?
Our services are charged on an hourly basis. We will provide you with a quote based upon
your needs, wants and our professional assessment. Invoices are sent to the client’s home at the end of every month or service.

What is CDPAP?
CDPAP stands for Consumer Direct Personal Assistant Program. This medicaid program allows eligible clients who need long-term homecare to choose their caregiver.
Who is eligible for CDPAP?
Since CDPAP is a Medicaid program, you must have Medicaid in order to receive these services. CDPAP is available to those who are physically disabled or chronically ill and need assistance for daily activities. If you do not have Medicaid, we have experts who can help you with the Medicaid process as well.
Are CDPAP caregivers required to have a license or to undergo training?
No, caregivers do not need to be trained professionals and do not require any license.
Who can the client choose as their caregiver?
CDPAP is very flexible when it comes to choosing a caregiver. A client may choose anyone including their children and other family members though there are a few exceptions. How can one receive CDPAP services?
Enrolling into this service requires being assessed by nurses and filling out certain forms. You don’t need to worry about all the details as we will help you with this process every step of the way.
How many hours of service will the client receive?
Not all clients receive the same number of hours of homecare. This depends entirely on their condition and on other factors.
What is the hourly pay for caregivers?
